Emergency Housing and Financial Assistance

Monmouth County Division of Social Services

Eligible Monmouth County residents may receive Emergency Assistance for temporary shelter and certain housing-related needs. The office also administers cash assistance, SNAP, Medicaid, and other public benefits.

The Affordable Housing Alliance is the designated homelessness-prevention contact for Monmouth County. Programs may provide limited assistance with past-due rent or other housing needs to eligible households facing homelessness.
