PAAD — Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged & Disabled
PAAD helps eligible New Jersey residents age 65+, as well as adults 18–64 receiving Social Security Disability benefits, lower prescription costs. For 2026, the income limit is under $54,943 for a single applicant or $62,390 for a married couple. Covered prescriptions generally have a $5 copay for generics and $7 for brand-name drugs.

Senior Gold Prescription Discount Program
Senior Gold Prescription Discount Program
For eligible NJ residents who are over the PAAD income limit, Senior Gold provides additional prescription savings. Members generally pay $15 plus 50% of the remaining cost of covered prescriptions, with additional protections after reaching specified annual out-of-pocket thresholds.

OHI is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving Ocean County residents, including uninsured and underinsured patients. Its Toms River location includes pharmacy services, and eligible patients may have access to reduced prescription pricing through the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program.
